Winnipeg’s Pitblado Law has announced this month that five of the firm’s lawyers have become partners.
Darla Rettie, Niall Nazarko, Eric Blouw, Aaron Maister, and Josh Bokhaut each bring significant experience to the firm and its clients.
Rettie is a trusted advisor offering practical and effective advice in the areas of commercial financing, business structuring, designing trusts, and documenting First Nation laws.
Nazarko practices corporate and commercial law with a focus on mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, re-organizations, financing transactions, and corporate governance, as well as leasing and real estate matters.
Blouw practices primarily in the areas of commercial and civil litigation and bankruptcy and insolvency law and has appeared at all levels of court in Manitoba.
Maiser focuses on wills and estate planning and works to identify strategic ways to facilitate estate plans that minimize tax consequences and preserve wealth.
Bokhaut practices tax law and corporate and commercial law, and assists business owners with personal and corporate tax planning, corporate structuring and reorganization, and mergers and acquisitions.
“We are thrilled to have these talented lawyers join the partnership serving our clients across various industries and practice areas,” said Todd Sywake, chief executive officer at Pitblado.
