Sure, Corporate Source prints magazines and books but it also provides its clients with everything from apparel and promotional items to displays and retail signage.
“We print anything is our motto,” says president Mark Davis. “We provide our customers with anything that has print on it. We have all of the bases covered.”
Vehicle graphics? Check. Baseball hats? Check. Election sign and property tax bill? Check and check. Corporate Source prints many different magazine titles, not as many as it used to, but he believes there will always be a market for people who like to hold a glossy publication in their hands rather than scrolling through one on their phone or computer.
“We’re busier than ever because we’re so diverse,” he says.
Corporate Source, which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, is also a certified Canada Post mailhouse. It has inkjet machines for addressing any type of printed piece for clients such as the City of Winnipeg.
Branching out from traditional printing to, well, anything was a natural progression over the last 15 years. For example, after traditional printing for many customers over the years and learning that they had other printing needs, Davis and his team knew they could provide the solution.
“They had printed on paper with us and now they wanted jackets, caps and signs. We had many happy captive customers. We’d say, ‘why not deal with somebody you trust and we’ll handle all of your printing needs?” he says, noting the company can even do back-lit signs and have them affixed to your building.
Corporate Source also provides websites which enables customers, such as furniture stores and financial services providers from across the country to order from their managed inventory already in storage at the company’s 13,000-square-foot facility on McPhillips Street.
