Winnipeg Airports Authority has announced two more routes have been added to the airport, starting May 23, 2024.

United Airlines will resume non-stop service from Winnipeg to Chicago and Denver this spring.

“Bringing back United’s non-stop service to Chicago and Denver has been among the top priorities for our team as, in talking with Manitobans, we’ve heard just how much these two routes mean to them,” said WAA president & CEO Nick Hays with the announcement. “Not only do they provide more choice and more convenience for travellers from across our region to explore the world, but also unlock more opportunities to help fuel our economy.”

This is the latest service expansion for Winnipeg Airports Authority. Last fall, Porter Airlines added Winnipeg as a destination, connecting the city to Toronto and Ottawa. WestJet also started service between Winnipeg and Los Angeles in 2022, and Winnipeg and Atlanta in May 2023.
