Winnipeg’s Piccola Cucina Inc. announced Oct. 2 that it has acquired Calgary-based Judy G Foods Inc., a gluten free pizza and vegan dessert company.
Piccolo Cucina manufactures certified gluten & dairy-free products in Manitoba, supplying “Italian inspired, delicious, and nutritional food options that cater specifically to those managing food sensitivities” in the consumer packaged goods space. Piccolo Cucina was founded in 2009.

Judy G Foods Inc. was founded in Calgary and supplies gluten-free pizza crusts, frozen pizzas and dessert mixes to food retailers.
The acquisition is effective immediately.
